  • HI Chintan,

What if you try to access your SSP via http://YourSSPWebApplicationUrl/ssp/admin ?

Central Admin > Web application management > Site Collection administrators > Select your SSP web App. > Select SSP/Admin site collection.

Remember, being a farm administrator does not give you automatically the right to manage web applications' site collections

If your account does have the right do the following:
Open CA - Application Management - policy for web application
Change web application to SSP - add user - select (all Zones) - next - select User and permissions (Full Control) - finish

Now you have the rights to login to the SSP!

Now login to the SSP - select personalization server permissions
Add Users/groups - select your user and select all under "Choose Permissons"

Also add your account to the local Administrator group on the sharepoint server and check.

    Best regards,

    Raj

  • Chintan:

NEVER post the same question to more than one forum. That causes duplicate threads and this wastes the time of everyone in the forums.

I have deleted the identical question sent to the General forum within a couple of hours of this thread being posted.

    Do NOT do this again.
