Hi,
What are the steps need to be taken care of to enable incoming email settings for SharePoint 2013 Calendar?
I have email id which was created in exchange. What are the other steps I need to take at server level to create entries in Calendar?Thank you.

Hi OK29,
Yes, you need to install SMTP service.
Please do the steps I have offered:

Then configure incoming email in calendar list:

Then configure incoming email in calendar list:
Per my test, we can only "send event" to the calendar list, we cannot "send mail" to calendar list.

Hi Lisa,
Thank you for your comments but I want to know what kind of changes I need to take at server level to use Incoming email communication. Is SMTP service installation required?
We have 1 web server and 1 app server and 1 db server and incoming email communication is going to be used only for one calendar in near future. I got one email id from network team which I need to use for SharePoint calendar to receive incoming communications.
So I would like to know the steps I need to take care to receive events from outlook to SharePoint calendar.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
