normalization rule creation help please RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've been searching around for a rule that will make this happen for me but to no avail. Would someone please help?:

I need the following extension range: 2015-2054

BUT the normalization rule CANNOT include the extension 2014

    Thanks.

Also, if someone can point me to a tool that would create a normalization rule for me such as this, then it would be appreciated! :)

    How about this?

    20(1[5-9]|[2-4]\d|5[0-4])

  • I would use something like this:

    ^20(15|16|17|18|19|2\d|3\d|4\d|50|51|52|53|54)$

  • If you're looking for a tool to create normalization rules for situations like you describe, try the Lync Dialing Rule Optimizer (www.lyncoptimizer.com).  If you select the checkbox for Use Extensions, and enter the extension range you want normalized, it will create a script with all the necessary normalization rules.
