ADFS Plugin - Automatically trigger user’s default method RRS feed

  • I've tested a bit further in my environment.

    If you set your account to phone or SMS, THEN you get the options first.

    If your primaire methode is Mobile App, then the option is shown to select another methode, after the first attempt failed. (only when you allow users to select other methodes.)

    So the behavior is a bit a unlogical with knowing the design decision from MS.

    Did you setup the AD FS setting as it's stated in the blog of Sander.

    And did you use the newest version of the .config file?

    Yes thats how MFA configured. The config i have used is as follow:

    Just check had some settings different on the Company settings but that wouldn't make a difference. The option is working of the User Portal but ADFS keeps going to the mobile app automatically.

    Version numbers are the same!

    Any more options?

  • Which choices are given in the User Portal?

    To be sure, did you configured a phone number on your test account?

  • User Portal is given me the choice of Phone and Mobile app and my mobile phone number is known.

    My default option is Mobile app, when I remove the mobile app as option for ADFS the options phone and text are given so I can pick one. When I re enable it app is picked again as default!

  • Well that works, than the option automatically trigger users default method is there for no reason! But it answers my question. People can select other options if they want of cant use there app!
