Windows Phone 8 Notes area on contacts not syncing with exchang from phone or from outlook RRS feed

  • Good Moring:  i am working with a user who just recieved a nokia 1020.   His contacts are synced but when he is making changes specifically in the notes area it looks to not be syncing across.  Are there any settings that have to be adjusted on the phone or in outlook to make sure that the details sync correctly

  • To be clear: We are referring to the notes section of the contact and note the Notes section of Outlook in general? Because Outlook Notes don't sync, but contact notes should.

    Now, we know there is a WP8 bug where when an Exchange account is set to push email ('as items arrive' in the account sync settings) it doesn't immediately update the server with the new info.

    Can you please try editing a contact note, then force a sync? You can force a sync by either opening that account's inbox and pushing the sync button, or going to Settings>email + accounts, holding your finger down on the account in question until a menu appears and choosing 'sync' from that menu.

    What email server and version of the server is running?
