Missing 'RevoScaleR' package in 'Microsoft R Open 3.4.2' RRS feed

  • Question

  • I follow the steps to install the Microsoft R Open 3.4.2. But the package 'RevoScaleR' is not the default installation. Only default install the packages "RevoIOQ", "RevoMods", "RevoUtils" and "RevoUtilsMath". How can I  install the package 'RevoScaleR'?

  • Microsoft R Open doesn't include the RevoScaleR package. That package is available in Microsoft R Client and Microsoft ML Server. You can find details about those here:

  • Raises the question, when will R Client be upgraded to support R Open 3.4.3? The question really is, how can I use R Open 3.4.3 together with RevoScaleR in RStudio, since I have to re-point the R engine to somewhere that supports both? Thanks.
