Window Updates Error code #80072EFE in WindowServers 2012 R2 RRS feed

  • Hi Sir/Madam,


    We're having some troubles on Window updates and the error code is #80072EFE. We've done some researches and tried to figured it out by some methods but unable to resolve this issues.


    We are appreciated if you could assist on this matter.

    I've attached the screenshot of the error as below:-

    Error 0x80072EFE indicates ERROR_INTERNET_CONNECTION_ABORTED. This may be caused by process/program which effect the Internet communication, resource problem on the system, frequent Internet activities.

    Try to turn off the Windows Update, wait for a moment. Then, turn on it and check the result. If the problem persists, disable any 3rd party process, including anti-virus program, restart the system in clean boot and check the result.

  • Hi All,

    The problem has been resolved.

    We just found there is a Microsoft App Store inside our SonicWall and uncheck the blocking and its fine.
