Exchange 2010 SSL Certificate RRS feed

  • I have installed a exchange 2010 server, my web mail URL  is .net and autodiscover is .com, do i need to buy 2 certificate or 1 should be ok?

  • You need to buy a UC/SAN cert that contains both names.  Use the OWA url for the subject name and the autodiscover.domain.com as a subject alternative name.  Other option is to create an SRV record for the autodiscover service that points to your OWA url, but the users will get a redirection dialog box the first time.
