Question
-
Hello,
I've a problem with the deployment of Endpoint Protection to my Windows 7 Client.
In my cmm.log there are a few errors:
- Failed to connect to \\WINDOWS7\admin$ using machine account (5)
- Error: Failed to connect to \\WINDOWS7\admin$ share using account 'Machine Account'- WNetAddConnection2 failed (LOGON32_LOGON_NEW_CREDENTIALS) using account WINDOWSSERVER\ClientInstall (00000043)
- Failed to connect to \\WIN-4SMFJ6FDLT4\admin$ using machine account (67)
- Faled to connect to \\192.168.200.175\admin$ using machine account (1311)
Is there someone who knows the problem?

Is this one device only? If so check it's not a DNS issue.
Cheers

Yeah, it's on one device only (because I only have one device)

Verify the WINDOWSSERVER\ClientInstall account has local admin rights on the WIN-4SMFJ6FDLT4 client, that the 192.168.200.175 IP address is correct for that client, and that File/Print Sharing is enabled on the client.

- ClientInstall has local admin rights on the WIN-4SMFJ6FDLT4.
- IP address is correct.
- File/Print Sharing is enabled on the client.
On the client (Windows 7) is "ccmsetup.exe *32" running in the Windows Task Manager,
but there's no Configuration Manager in the Control Panel.
Does someone know how to restart the CCM.log file? Because the last date was 25/04/2014.Monday, April 28, 2014 8:03 AM -
have you allowed WMI on the firewall?
Cheers
