Direct Access - Client firewall is on, but the DA troubleshooting tools says its off RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    I am wondering if anyone has come across this situation before.  The client windows firewall (on the laptop) is fully enabled, but for some reason, both the Direct Access troubleshooting tool and the Windows 8.1 Direct Access Client are saying it is disabled.  What am I missing here?  The DA wizard set up group policies for the DA client during install, but I am wondering if there are specific settings in the Firewall that may be being over written by another group policy.  What should the public profile for the Firewall look like (in terms of  settings)?  Anyone ever come across this issue before?
