How to set Wallpaper Computer by Computer Settings in a GPO RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi guys,

I'm trying to set a wallpaper for all users who log in a specific Windows 7 computer, but doesn't works. (Black screen)

Somebody knows how to do this using a Computer Configuration in a GPO?

    Thanks.

  • Sounds like you may have bigger issues as the GPO setting should work.

I guess you could try a Group Policy Preference that copied a specific picture for every user.

GPP would require the copy of the picture to the computer if not there.

GPP would also need to point user's registry to the picture location.

Have a look at HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop\Wallpaper where the REG_SZ value is the full path to the picture.

  • Thanks Harrys, I installed the hotfix but doesn't worked.

Do you know how to do this through a vbscript (Run as administrator)?
