Desktop Wallpaper not configuring RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear Team

We have lots of terminal servers (2003 R2 enterprise Edition SP2) in our network and many different-different department use these Terminal Servers to work. We are planing to Migrate on Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition. Every things perfect but  the main problem that I'm facing is "Desktop Wall Paper setting does not apply to remote desktop server sessions on Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition"

I'm unable to set wallpaper on Terminal Server Remote session. All users will log on to these servers using their desktop/laptop. Same time got a piece of info that server 2008 GP doesn't support remote wallpaper setting. Please read this info that I mentioned below.

Note: This setting does not apply to remote desktop server sessions.

Please let me know if these is any template that can be sued to apply desktop wallpaper on remote session.

Specifies the desktop background ("wallpaper") displayed on all users'
    desktops.

This setting lets you specify the wallpaper on users' desktops and
prevents users from changing the image or its presentation. The wallpaper
you specify can be stored in a bitmap (*.bmp) or JPEG (*.jpg) file.

To use this setting, type the fully qualified path and name of the file
that stores the wallpaper image. You can type a local path, such as
C:\Windows\web\wallpaper\home.jpg or a UNC path, such as
\\Server\Share\Corp.jpg. If the specified file is not available when the
user logs on, no wallpaper is displayed. Users cannot specify alternative
wallpaper. You can also use this setting to specify that the wallpaper
image be centered, tiled, or stretched. Users cannot change this
    specification.

If you disable this setting or do not configure it, no wallpaper is
displayed. However, users can select the wallpaper of their choice.

Also, see the "Allow only bitmapped wallpaper" in the same location, and
the "Prevent changing wallpaper" setting in User
    Configuration\Administrative Templates\Control Panel.

Note: This setting does not apply to remote desktop server sessions.

Same time I have done below mentioned exercise.

disabled the "Remove remote desktop wallpaper" from User Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Remote Desktop Services\Remote Desktop Session Host\Remote Session Environment and also updated server with hotfix 402815_intl_x64_zip.ex but no go.
