Adding shared contacts to address book in Office 2016? RRS feed

  • Unfortunately, it seems as if this option "Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book" is no longer available in the properties of shared contacts.

    I want to be able to add a shared contact list to my address book, but there seems to be not a single simple solution to solve this. Does anyone have any workarounds or fixes?

    Yes. Generally, a shared Contacts folder doesn’t hold the Outlook Address Book tab. And adding a Contacts folder from another mailbox to your Outlook Address Book is currently not supported.

    To workaround this, we can search for the address directly in the shared Contacts folder or consider putting these contacts in a Public Folder or SharePoint List you can access. For more details, hopefully the information in the article below can be helpful:
