Project Server 2010 creating PerformancePoint reports RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi team!

My customer wants to create a number of PerformancePoint reports based on Project Server 2010 data. Previously I used Report Builder 3.0, picked the necessary tables from the Project Server 2010 Reporting DB, applied filters and finally created the reports.

But now the problem is that I need to create the reports based on the data which is normally saved in PWA Content DB. E.g. each Project site has a list "Issues". The report should look like a table with the list of all the Issues from all the Project sites (with Project names). Therefore I won't be able to use Reporting DB any more.

What can I do in this situation? Can I use any Project/SharePoint interface to get the needed data? Any methods (like sp.list, etc.)? Is there any tool which can help (like Report Builder)? Which way of doing this is supported by Microsoft? Maybe this question is more directed to SharePoint guys.

Any help/thoughts/advice will be highly appreciated!
