Norton internet security 2007 and Vista RRS feed

    I have just bought a new computer with Vista 64 bit operating system.  My old machine ran windows xp.  I have tried to load norton 2007 onto my new computer but a dialogue box appears telling me that it is only for use with XP.  It refers me back to Symantec for their update patch.  However after downloading it when I try to install it it says I need to install norton 2007 first.  I can't install either of them without the other being installed first.  Does anyone know how to resolve this issue.  Any help would be appreciated  Anne.

    I don't know if it would work, but you can download a free 90 day trial of norton for vista.  Then maybe try putting in the code you recieved when you bought the other norton.  If nothing else, it cna give you 90 days of protection if you have to call up norton.  Here's a link to the page to download norton and the other security programs recommended by Microsoft.
