Package Conversion Manager 2.0 SP1 trial ended! RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am getting a message when I try to convert a package saying that the Trial version time limit has expired.

It looks like I installed this six months ago. It was working a few days ago.

I'll do an uninstall\re-install to see if that clears the time block.

    3. Open registry
    4. Delete the key ”HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\System Center Configuration Manager Package Conversion Manager

NOTE: omit WOW6432Node if you're not on 64-bit machine

      5. Reinstall PCM

  • I was able to fix this just by updating the registry key with the current date.  No reinstall of PCM required, just exit and restart PCM wizard.

Set-ItemProperty-Path"HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\System Center Configuration Manager Package Conversion Manager"-Name'Settings'-Value$(Get-Date-UFormat"%m/%d/%Y")
