OpenCV_DIR conflict 2.4.5 vs 2.4.6 RRS feed

  • Question

  • There's a conflict in 2.4.5 and 2.4.6 (VS Express 2013 Win 7). I'm trying to configure 2.4.6 with tutorial instructions in 2.4.5. See my files OPENCV_DIR1 and ...DIR2. Note the green arrows. In DIR1, I'm supposed the put $(OPENCV_DIR)\include in the field at the top. In DIR2, I need to put $(OPENCV_DIR)\x86\vc11\lib  in the field at the top.

When I follow the tutorial using my 2.4.6, the property windows are fairly different, and there is no way to put the values into the fields.

  • I'm putting the third image here that I would like to show. Or so I thought. Three seems to be the total limit.

Is this question related to Project Online, an enterprise project management application?  I cannot see anything in your post that indicates so.  If it is somehow related to Project Online, you will need to elaborate.  And if it is not, I would recommend you post your question in a more relevant user forum.  Hope this helps.

  • I've found it very difficult to get the "right" forum. Those two boxes, category and something else make little sense to me for determining a "correct" forum.

I made a later post of this. It too went astray, but it was because I pressed the wrong button. Project Server rather that Project right above it. That attracted someone, a MVP, moderator, to request I put it into a different forum.  He suggested <http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/projectserver/en-US/home?forum=whatforum>, but I don't see how that helped, but it got me here <http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/projectserver/en-US/home?category=project>.  The second entry in the list shows my post.  I have no idea what's going on.

My interest is in OpenCV and C++ in Win7. I searched this forum to see if anyone here had posted for OpenCV. Many had. I just looked again and see forums were not always the source of the posts. See <http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Search/en-US/projectserver?query=opencv&beta=0&ac=4>

    Beats me.

    Try the following user forum:

    http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/vstudio/en-US/home?forum=vcgeneral

You will have a better chance of getting an answer in the preceding forum, or any of its related forums, that you will have in this user forum.  Hope this helps.
