Team Foundation Server messed up my project. RRS feed

  • So...

Our TFS server died.  A new server was built.  We restored the repos from backups.  So I created a link to the new server, and checked out my project in a new folder (thank God). The project in the new server was totally broken.  Even though it should have exactly reflected the latest build, it had like 70+ compile errors.

Since I am not a TFS expert, and I had a client waiting for changes, I just edited the old project (the one linked to the dead repository).

Now I want to check in the new changes, and I can't figure out how.  I have tried reconnecting to source control, I got to a screen called "Change Source Control", but it has no way to find and/or select a new repository.

I'd rather live with false hope than with false despair.
