Outlook Voice Access - Use a Different Email Voice? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I absolutely love using Outlook Voice Access, and my users generally like it too, but the most common complaint I hear is that the email/calendar playback voice is too robotic. Is there any way to change this to a more human sounding voice?

  • I don't think that there is a way to change it you can slow it down a little which will help reducing the robotic effect

  • That's too bad... I was hoping it used the Windows Speech-to-Text engine and voices so that alternate voices could be used. But, there's always SP2 or the next version, right? :)

    Thanks for the feedback.
