Disable "Last Used Items" RRS feed

  • Hello,
    is it possible to disable the "Last Used Items" for an specific applikation in the startup menu?

  • This feature is not possible in Windows 7 RC.

    However, if you ever want to clear the Recent Items list, you can right click on it and select "Clear recent items list."

  • im not so sure about that, but you can generally disable 'recent items' and 'recently opened programs' in start menu options (taskbar and start menu properties)

  • Right click the Start button and select "Properties". This window has a "Privacy" section with two checkboxes: "Store and display recently opened programs in the Start menu" and "Store and display recently opened items in the Start menu and the taskbar". Unchecking both of those should hopefully have the result you're looking for.

  • Thanks to you guys, but one wish from myself is it to disable the "Store and display recently opened items in the Start menu and the taskbar" feature for a single programm like Media Player or Word and not for every programm on my computer
