    Hi All,

    According this technet article Microsoft recommends that we should use one web application and Host Named Site collections for all site collections but the root site collection.

    My question (problem) is that according recommendations you should not activate Self-Service Site creation for the web application. So How users have their own personal Site collection? These personal Site collections should be created automatically not by running PowerShell Script. How can I achieve it without activating Self-Service Site Creation and running Powershell script.

    You would have to enable SSC if you were going to host MySites in the same Web Application.
