Outlook Freezing when trying to open RRS feed

  • I have a remote user that is running Windows 7 Pro SP1 (OS updates have been installed) with Office 365 (updates have been installed). First time the user tries to open Outlook each day it freezes at the "processing" stage.  

    Here are the things we have tried to resolve but the problem persists:

    1. Uninstall Office 365, reboot and fresh install of 32-bit
    2. Uninstall Office 365, reboot and fresh install of 64-bit
    3. Confirmed all add-ins are unchecked/disabled
    4. Disabled hardware graphics acceleration option
    5. rebuilt Outlook profile
    6. deleted the .ost and .nst file and built new
    7. Open in safemode and resetnavpane

    As soon as you open Outlook in safe mode user is able to open & close Outlook numerous times during the day with no problem.  User shuts down the computer at night and next morning the problem reoccurs.
