Exchange services not starting RRS feed

  • Hi everyone, I had a power failure , After power failure i am not able to start Microsoft Exchange IMAP4, Microsoft Exchange Information Store, Microsoft Exchange POP3 services,Microsoft Exchange Service Host services, 

    I am  using SP2 , can i upgrade to SP3 ?

    Thank you for your question.

    You can reply Ed’s question and you can restart your exchange server.

    Whether you have to try to following steps:

    Firstly, you can start domain controller then you can start exchange server. You can try to manual start those services and modify startup type to “automatic”. Then you can restart your exchange server.

    You can use the following command to check the exchange services by using exchange powershell:

    Test-ServiceHealth “servicernsname”

  • It's easy enough to find out.  But I have my doubts that it will fix your problem.

    Is there anything in the event log?

  • I tried everything i failed and then i have enabled ipv6 and the information store service started. 

    Is information store service dependent on ipv6?

    The information store is independent on IPv6.

    Is there any event logs?
