  • Hi

     When you got this error?On the computer localy,or on Active Directory Users nd Computers?

    I think the password does not meet the password policy requirements.like;

    is not long enough,not complex(Letters,caps,nember,symbol),or same to used by user (maybe last 2-3 password)

    Please try another password,

  • Please check the server replication;

    you can enter repadmin /replsum command on CMD console on your working DC.Then share teh result in here please.

  • I agree with Burak.

    Ideally, this error message comes when password complexity does not satisfy. Ensure the password you are going to put must match as per your domain password policy.

    To understand password policy you may visit https://technet.microsoft.com/en-in/library/cc786468%28v=ws.10%29.aspx

    Cheers!!!

  • Since we are resetting the password, history doesn't apply. It's only
    about length and complexity.

    Did you check whether you have fine grained password policies in place?

    That's not a fine grained password policy - this is the old legacy setting.
