  • Greetings,

ADUC is a MMC Snapin. MMC can be used to attach the ADUC console. Normally right clicking on the left pane's active directory users and computer container and choosing change domain will bring back all the containers and it objects.

If for some reason there is a red X mark and if no domain controller is listed in the change domain controller option. it suggests some serious issues with DC communication. The same shud be fixed by following the below link

  • Dear,

From run -> dsa.msc, it will open the console else Try run->mmc.exe->add the active directory snapin.

    Thanks

Error messages are always helpful if posted literally. Screenshots are helpful, too.
