ProClairty and Geo Map RRS feed

  • Question

  • What is the best tool out there to incorporate Geo mapping visualization capability with ProClarity 6.3? And how user friendly and stable is it? I know ProClarity had integration with Software FX and Dundas chart tools but I don’t know about Map piece?

  • Ali,

Here is the feedback I received.

"This all depends on whether they want to just visualize the data ('see the map') or actually query the data spatially (what is the population of the people in my trading area?).  If it is simply visualization, dundas or virtual earth can do the job."

    Thanks Ben and Mike!

  • First Thanks to Joey, Ben and Mike. So if it is actually query the data spatially what do you recommend? Last do you know or can direct me a web site to learn more about the licensing fees related to using virtual earth.

    Thanks again..

  • ESRI products are probably the best, and there is also a product called MapInfo.  Again, thanks to Mike for sharing his knowledge in this area.
