  • Question

  • I have Windows 7 Professional on my system.

Been trying to install the latest pack ever since February 22nd without any luck.

Every time I try to download, it goes as far as 24 percent and even after several hours it remains in that position.

I've noticed that since that first download my system has slowed down considerably.

Anyone with an idea of what is going on ???

  • just from quickly glancing at your windows update log, it looks like you're missing some sort of windows validation to allow a download.  Your windows update client looks like it's out of date as well.   See this page: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949104

  • copy the files to your desktop/personal folder, zip them into 1 ZIP and upload the zip. The setupapi.dev.log is located in the folder C:\Windows\Inf

  • This is what I was trying to do, how do you upload in this forum ??
What I mean is that I did the normal COPY and Paste and for some unknown reasons it gives the complete path of the file in question
