Exchange 2007 SCC failover Trouble Shooting Help RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello Team

My Setup is currently with exchange 2007 SCC and would like to know more trouble shooting during failover between the nodes

When the node got failover from Node1 to Node2. we received the below Event ID : 1135 and 1177

Cluster node 'Node02' was removed from the
active failover cluster membership. The Cluster service on this node may have
stopped. This could also be due to the node having lost communication with
other active nodes in the failover cluster. Run the Validate a Configuration
wizard to check your network configuration. If the condition persists, check
for hardware or software errors related to the network adapters on this node.
Also check for failures in any other network components to which the node is
connected such as hubs, switches, or bridges

The Cluster service is shutting down because quorum was lost. This could be due to the loss of network connectivity between some or all nodes in the cluster, or a failover of the witness disk.

Run the Validate a Configuration wizard to check your network configuration. If the condition persists, check for hardware or software errors related to the network adapter. Also check for failures in any other network components to which the node is connected such as hubs, switches, or bridges.

    Event ID : 1038 & 1037

Ownership of cluster disk '' has been unexpectedly lost by this node. Run the Validate a Configuration wizard to check your storage configuration.

The file system for one or more partitions on the disk for resource '' may be corrupt. Run the Validate a Configuration wizard to check your storage configuration. Optionally, you may want to run Chkdsk to verify the integrity of all volumes on this disk.

N/w Team confirmed that , there is no issue on their end.

I suspect the failover may be happened due to Disk related issue

To be confirm, how can I prove that. How to check the cluster logs for the exact back ground or reason for the failover between the nodes.

Is the cluster logs provide much information.
