SFB Unable to make call on global network RRS feed

  • Hello All

    i am successfully able to make video & voice call in internal WiFi network, but unable to make voice & video call on Mobile 4G network & wifi, only able to chat..

    Please help me in this.........

  • Hi V.S.D,

    Now you cannot make a A/V call on Mobile 4G external network,but you could send IM to others

    Did you use any tunel VPN?if so ,please check if it is support UDP traffic.

    What kinds of call,did you make,PSTN CALL or SIP CALL
    Please run “Get-CsMobilityPolicy”,check EnableOutsideVoice, EnableIPAudioVideo is true

    Becase the mobile app outside call media will pass the edge server , please check edge servers have some error event id.

    Make sure you have opened port 50000-59999 is open on the outbound firewall.

  • If you are using the mobile client you must go in to settings and enable cellular calling.

    Again these settings are in the Skype For Business client.

    Thanks for your response

    I had checked & "Please run “Get-CsMobilityPolicy”,check EnableOutsideVoice, EnableIPAudioVideo is true" is all set to true and yes  i can only send IM to other.

    "Make sure you have opened port 50000-59999 is open on the outbound firewall." I have to set as source port aur destination port & as TCP or UDP traffic

  • Now i can make audio call from mobile network but unable to make video & audio call from diff location, using WIFI..

    Now ,you cannot make a audio and video call, when you mobile phone connect to the wifi,

    Edge Server plays a larger role in mobility deployments,all the media traffic will send to A/V Edge interface on the Edge Server.

    Are all the IOS client and Android client have this issue?

    Please install new SFB app,connect to the wifi,make a  call, Collect SFB app logs and send here.
