  • Hi James,

To check which application is causing the continous network usage, you can use windows built in Resource Monitor.

To start resource monitor, do the below steps:

    1) Open Task manager (press Ctrl+Shift+Esc or start taskmanager by right click on task bar)

    2) Open Performance tab, Click on "Resource Monitor" buttor at the bottom.

    3) On the Resouce Monitor screen, open "Network" tab and view the usage of network per process.

You can use the above tool to find out which process is hogging the internet most. You can take appropriate action on that process. Hope that helps.

  • You have to set the connection as non metered connection.

Right-click the connection that you are using and select "Set as non-metered connection".
