Outlook 2013 search Issue RRS feed

  • Dear Tech Adviser,

    The Outlook search issue appears to be a prolific problem.

    Is Microsoft actively working on a patch fix? If so, any expected e.t.a?

    Or do I have to perform remediation procedures? If so, what are they?

    Please advise,

    p.s. I got my desktop at Staples, so I do not have a disk for the Office software.

    Does this issue happen after installing the June 13 updates? If this is the case, it could be a known issue. We have an official webpage documented this issue. We're investigating the issues and will update this page when a fix is available.

    In addition, is it possible to provide the detailed version number of your Windows OS and Outlook 2013 so that we can further look into the issue?

    We released a KB update on June 27 which should fix this issue. Please try installing the corresponding updates for your Windows OS and then see whether this issue continues:

    Windows 7 -  KB4022168
    Windows 8.1 - KB4022720
    Windows 10 - KB4022716
