Table Numbering in Appendices

  I am working in Word 2007 and I am trying to automatically number figures and tables in appendices with the appendix letter; Table A-1, Figure A-1, etc. with the insert caption feature.  When I insert a caption the number is continued from the body of the document.  I've looked at "Caption Numbering - Chapter starts with style" but don't have the option to choose Appendix.  Any assistance would be wonderful.
