MS Project 2007 Application Update Process Guidance & Current Build Version Number? RRS feed

  • Question

  • All,

I am a scheduler and have had problems with my IT team keeping Project 2007's service packs & cumulative updates current.  I am not certain that 1) my folks clearly understand the rationale for this requirement 2) they are getting all of the updates they should be getting & 3) that our current build is the latest.

Is there any guidance on the update process for Project 2007 somewhere that I can reference and give to them?  And what is the current build number of Project (including February's CUs & the current MSO version) so that I can check that we are current.  I haven't been able to find it on the web.

    I am currently on MSP 2007 12.0.6607.1000 SP3 MSO 12.0.6607.1000

Any other recommendations for how to manage this?  Some folks have suggested migrating to Project 2010 but that is not going to happen any time soon.

Thanks in advance for your help!
