Can you deploy 3rd party root CA with WSUS? RRS feed

Answers

  • Not sure you could deploy it without a third part software deployment application on your WSUS server.

Indeed, there are no options in the updates categories about 3rd party root CA in the WSUS services.

  • Hello Bostjan,

I think you'd better to deploy it through GPO.

    Many thanks.

  • Hi there.

I know about the option deploying them thru GPO but I was curious if WSUS can do it?

  • Case closed. Unfortunatelly I will need to mark ELTIGROU as answer although I dont like the fact of Wsus unability for doing 3rd party cer deployments.

Uhhh.... did you happen to check to see whether this third-party root certificate is already included in the KB931125 package?
