Issue when trying to reload Windows 7 Premium 64bit RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am having problems with my computer, crashing, blue screen, difficult switching to different users without it going into a chkdsk process.  Was told I should try to reload Windows 7.  When I put the disc in the only file that shows up on the disc is a txt file and an error (sorry I don't have the error message at the moment but will post later). Any clue why this would happen?  I am on my 2nd hard drive in 2 yrs and lates is a WD Caviar Green 500Gig so hoping that is not the issue.  At the moent (as long as I dont shut down the computer things seem to be working ok which make me think probalby not the HD).

    Any thoughts on this?

  • I think this has something to do with the Hard disk you have.

As Andre said, we may need to have a look at the text file to look for some clue. ;) Let us know how it goes with the new HDD.

    Thanks.
