SCOM Support for RPC/XML-RPC RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am trying to understand the protocols supported between SCOM and Other OSs.   I have  a  storage operating system which is a custom version of open Solaris  Unix OS. We do not have agent support and the OS does not have WSMAN implementation,  I am trying to  weigh  different options  including building own agent (not sure how complex it is), or if there are any protocols (such as RPC) that are already supported by SCOM, I can look at remote calling from the  SCOM Server.   Need your advise please.

  • Use default ports to push agent on Solaris Unix OS. because if you look at remote calling from the  SCOM Server on protocols supported, it won't work because this ports use to another services.
