Unable to send mails after Mailbox migration

  • Hi,

    We have two users mailbox which were migrated from Exch2003 to Exch2010 & then back to Exch2003. Now these users are receiving email but unable to send emails. While trying to send, getting mailbox full message whereas their mailbox size in ESM is not touching to restricted size. From both outlook & OWA, they are not able to send emails. I have tried to set send limit manually / create new profile but same status. Match mailbox rights / security permissions from working mailbox, but not seeing any difference. We have some other users also who have migrated on same path & working fine. But unable to understand why only these two users facing this issue only in sending emails.

    Appreciate any help to resolve this issue.

  • Don't assume that the mailbox sizes and the limits are exact. If the users are anywhere near their limit, assume that Exchange is telling you the truth and that they are near their limit. Easy answer, try removing the limit and see what happens.

    Also, did you use the Exchange 2010 console to move the mailboxes in both directions?

    Did you try the suggestion from ewoodrick?

    Is there any NDR the user get?

    Also, I found a thread might be similar to your issue, he did not have Integrated Windows Authentication checked.

    Perhaps you can have a look on that
