SMS 2003 SP2 & WSUS 3.0 RRS feed

  • Question

  • My end-game would be to use SMS 2003 SP2 to control and deliver both software and updates.
At the moment SMS controls software (and other SMS attributes) and WSUS to deploy updates.
Being a production environment we don't have an internet connection, but the WSUS server is located in a DMZ connected to a trusted WSUS up-stream server for synchronization - all works fine.
I have recently installed the ITMU into SMS and believe that the WSUSSCN2.CAB file needs to be manually installed - not a problem, but is there a way that I can point SMS (ITMU?) to the WSUS server to enable SMS to control the updates without going through the pain GUIDS and packaging?
