Audio out forced to digital--internal speakers don't work RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am running Windows 7 on a MacBook 2.2 GHz (Late 2007, MB062LL/B) with 4 GB RAM.  Windows is being run directly (that is, via Boot Camp) on a 25 GB partition.

The audio output is forced to Toslink (digital). The internal speakers do not work; neither does analog audio out (i.e., headphones).

As for that digital output, everything works OK--LPCM, Dolby Digital and dts.
