How to determine if the SCCM 2007 was installed as SP1 and then upgraded to SP2? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

Is there a way we can dermine if SCCM 2007 on an existing boxwas installed as RTM/SP1 and then upgraded to SP2 OR if it was installed using SP2 slip-stream media?

I have a system that has SCCM 2007 SP2 but the admin does not remember if it was installed using SP2 slip-stream or was upgraded from RTM/SP1 to SP2.

List of installed exes shows the SP1 file version .1000 of SCCM 2007 R2 (even if SP2 is installed) and rest of the roles do show SP2 level built (.2000)

  • You should be able to check the setup log files in the root of the C drive.

Also, don't confuse R2/R3 with SP1/SP2. R2 and R3 and simply feature pack add-ons that do *not* change any version numbers.
