Internet explorer 11 on Windows 7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am constantly getting a window popping up whenever I open a new page which is warning me that my Privacy setting are not correct but I have tried all the settings in the security box it still makes no difference, it still pops up, it is really annoying. How can I stop it from popping up or is it a bug which has been set off from something else?

  • Learn how to Reset Internet Explorer settings.

    If the issue persists...

    1. Download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner tool (freeware).
    2. Reboot your PC.
    3. Download and update Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free
    4. Reboot Windows in Safe Mode and run a Full Scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
    5. Download and Run AdwCleaner (Freeware)

    . Reboot and Test.

  • Hi Vincenzo,

Thank you very much for your reply.

I will check your suggestions to see if it works but it maybe that the settings need resetting but I will definitely download the Microsoft safety scanner and use it the next time I have a problem.

Do you know why my Laptop keeps failing to start, it is a nuisance because it takes so long to restore.

    Thanks again,

    Kind regards.
