Symptom description:
Word 2010 freezes for 5-10 seconds when I try to select multiple objects using CTRL+CLICK. Sometimes, the program recovers but mostly I would have to restart word. This occurs in any word document, regardless of its size. e.g. After selecting some text,
I hold ctrl and click to select some more text, resulting in the freeze.

CPU: Intel Core i5-2500
32-bit
Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1
RAM: 4GB
Graphics: Nvidia Radeon HD 6850
Any recent relevant configuration change(s):
I have a few word add-ons installed, including Acrobat, Chemistry structural diagrams, and text-to-speech.
