Meetings don't work on SfB RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have fresh new installation of SfB Server with clients...everything works fine but when I click on "Meet Now" on SfB client, it doesn't work and tells me this.

I checked also my pools, I've got only one so this should be no problem.

    Edit:

when i try it using browser, it shows me this error:

    Machine:SFBSERVERJoin attempted at(UTC):9.4.2017 15:50:51CorrelationId:951844793User Agent:Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.87 Safari/537.36 OPR/43.0.2442.1144Accept Header:text/htmlapplication/xhtml+xmlapplication/xml;q=0.9image/webp*/*;q=0.8Incoming URL:https://meet.win.kis.fri.uniza.sk/TelemetryId:d6744aaf-2830-4d62-a85b-07bce6056e73Error: Meeting URL format may be invalid

    Edit2:

URL for admin and dialin are working perfect.

    Any ideas? Thank you

  • Hello,

Use the Lync Deployment Wizard and go to “Install or Update Lync Server System”, “Request Install or Assign Certificates“, open Certificate Wizard.
    1. Select a certificate, click View.

    2. Click "View Certificate Details", and check the "Subject Alternative Name" under Details page.

Note: ensure host name "meet.win.kis.fri.uniza.sk" place in this SAN list.
If not, we need to renew certificate.

    Best Regards,

    Allen Wang

  • Hello,

Is there any related event log in application log? Or does this issue occurs on all user clients?

Since it's a new created Skype for Business environment, and Meeting Now feature not works, I suppose there're something wrong in setup process.

Therefore, I suggest to reinstall IIS or re-configure conference components with the following steps:
    1. In Lync server topology un- select conference feature and simple URL.
    2. Publish topology.
    3. Run Step 2- Setup or Remove Lync Server Components.
    4. Re-configure conference components in Lync server topology.
    5. Publish topology.
    6. Run Step 2-Setup or Remove Lync Server Components again.

Meanwhile, ensure the host name "meet.win.kis.fri.uniza.sk" contains as SAN in certificate.

    Best Regards,

    Allen Wang
