Deleting - Purging Junk Mail and other unnecessary files and folders RRS feed

    Recently upgraded to Windows 10 and inherited a list of tasks and problems I don't know how to solve.

    Main issues relate to incoming email, junk email, items that I've read and no longer need to have in my Inbox.

    I mark them to be Deleted - Purged, but I can't get that to happen!

    When I go back and try to redo the Delete, I keep getting the message that "the task cannot be completed because the item has been deleted"!

    Will appreciate any assistance to get rid of these junk mails and other "debris" remaining in my Inbox.

    Thanks for posting on the TechNet forum.

    I will give you some suggestions.

    You could access your web email and delete the related emails which you don't need anymore.

    Then take a look at the win10 mail client. And vice versa.
