FIM Outlook Addins and Extensions with Office 365 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

I'm working with a customer who has deployed and been using the Outlook Add-ins for FIM for approvals.  They're recently undertaking an Office 365 pilot, and users whose mailbox has been migrated to Office 365 no longer get the tick or cross in approval emails.

Expanding the message shows the following error:

"This request cannot be approved or rejected for the following reason(s):

The sender (xxx) was not authenticated by Exchange.

Contact your system administrator for assistance."

Is this scenario supported?  I've tried the latest patch for the client to no avail.  Any other ideas?  If it's unsupported, once the FIM service mailbox is migrated to Office 365, will the message disappear?

    Many thanks,

    Paul.

  • Hello

as far as I remember only onPrem Exchange is supported for things like FIM Service Mail polling and the features which will be provided by the outlook plugin.

  • Hello FIM people,

any update on this? I would like to use the Outlook Add-In to approve requests within a Exchange hybrid environment. FIM Service Mailbox is on the onprem Exchange and the user mailboxes are on Office 365.

    Thanks

    Chris
