Yes - the Broadcast Slide Show feature in the client is very nice for easy sharing. However, it is not a feature of the Web application at this time. To set up the live sharing session you need to do it from the PowerPoint client.
One thought for you - use the Share function to send others a link to your online presentation, and they can view in their browsers, and move through the slides manually with you (when you are on a phone conference, for example). This is obviously not
as nice as having them see your presentation as you move, but would be a short term work around.
