Moving User Folders (not library copy content) to another drive RRS feed

  • Question

  • I just installed an additional internal hard drive. So now I have a 160 GB hard drive (primary) (C drive) and a new 500 GB hard drive (E drive). Since almost all of the hard drive space we (3) users are taking is from saving music and photos to our sub-user folders, i.e. music, pictures, my documents, downloads etc, I want to move these (3) user folders to the new 500 GB hard drive (E drive) and keep only my program files on the (C Drive).

I understand (I think) all about the library function and that those files are merely copies of files in users, etc.

I can't find a way to do this...can someone advise? many thanks...PS. can it work the same way with the Pubilc Folder?
