No current baseline set please set baseline before publishing RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am using Project Server 2007.

I am trying to publish a new plan, then I get the error that the current baseline is not set. Even after setting a baseline through “Tools\Tracking\Set Baseline”, The error remains. I use the baseline no. 6 as the numbers 0-5 are not allowed to be used. Please advice.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi,

Can you share the exact message?

As far as I know, setting a baseline is not a prerequisite for publishing a project to Project Server on any version. Do you have specific developments on your tenant forcing project managers to save a baseline?

    Hope this helps,

  • Thanks for your reply. Only one user is facing this issue others are able to publish the plan without any issues.

    • Is this user having the issue on one single project? or is it occuring to him for any projects?
    • In case it is occuring just on one project, can you reproduce the issue with your account?
    • Do you have any customizations in Project, such as VBA macros?
    • Can you test on a new blank file?

    Hope this helps,
