Another "Prevent internet access" RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have read through many of the so called solutions of this "feature" of Steady State.  I have read the work arounds by editing "group Policy" and and Internet options under "connections"  They don't work.

My Disclaimer:  I have been pro Microsoft for a very long time but when I go to the "Steady State" web site and see something pushed and "Easy" is all over the website and even us IT technicians can't get the software work is a bit frustrating.

I setup Steady State and followed directions step by step and only our website works.  Example.

    Home Page:  http://www.ourwebsite.edu

The website works but for the other websites they do not.  Example:

Looks simple.  And Steady State looks so awesome and easy to use but this one feature does not work.  So many work arounds listed on this site but none work effectively.

Is there a real fix or just work arounds.

    Thank you.

Thank you for the post. I suggest you try the following in allowed websites:
