Rule to print landscape RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Everyone,

I receive payment notifications via email from one of my customers. I have setup a rule to automatically print them when they come in, but is there a way to set it to print in landscape mode vs portrait? I know I can go into the print settings and change it when I print it manually, but I'd like to be able to do it using a rule.

    Thanks,

    Mike

  • Hi Mike,

I'm afraid the printing orientation cannot be controlled by Outlook rules. We can try to manually change the printing orientation to landscape mode under Print Options > Page Setup > Paper tab, then Microsoft Outlook will save the print settings and apply to later printings automatically. However, this change applies to all later print jobs in Outlook.

  • Steve,

Thanks for your response. I had a feeling, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

    Thanks again,

    Mike
